Adventurous Appetites Ltd advises clients to contract private individual travel insurance covering any such eventuality.

 

With knowledge of the foregoing, each user of Adventurous Appetites Ltd’s service agrees to waive, release and indemnify Adventurous Appetites Ltd, its partners, agents, consultants, contractors or employees from any and all claims, actions, or causes of action for damages or injury to persons or property arising from the use of Adventurous Appetites Ltd’s service.

Adventurous Appetites Ltd and all and any services contracted through Adventurous Appetitetes Ltd or Adventurous Appetites Activities Ltd are subject to English Law

Payment in full is to be made at least 7 days before your tour (booking date permitting)

 

All services cancelled with more than 72hrs notice are liable to an 8GBP cancellation fee. The outstanding figure will be credited to your account (or refunded via Paypal) within 30 days of receiving your bank details.

 

Cancellations with less than 72hrs notice will not be refundable but every effort will be made to re-accomodate your booking within 30 days of your reserved visit.

We ask for payment to be made either via electronic transfer direct into our UK bank account (Details to be provided on booking) or by debit/credit card via paypal . For Corporate Bookings transfer charges are to be paid by the client. or Paypàl/card fee is applicable.

We will also contact you to request your passport number and date of birth to contract the basic insurance that is included in the tour fee on your behalf. We also request an indication of your height in order to contract an appropriately sized bicycle for you.

This information is used to facilitate the organization of your activity, contact you with details of the activity and of any changes, to identify suitable payment method. and to request feedback. Passport numbers and dates of birth will be used soley for the purpose of contracting insurance.

THEREAFTER WE  CONSIDER THE STORAGE OF CLIENTS' CONTACT INFORMATION TO BE IN THE LEGITIMATE INTERESTS OF ADVENTUROUS APPETITES LTD ADVENTUROUS APPETITES ACTIVITIES LTD AND CLIENTS, AS WE CONSIDER THAT COMMUNICATION WITH CLIENTS, AND THEREBY USE OF BASIC CONTACT DATA, FORMS AN INTEGRAL PART OF PROVIDING OUR SERVICE AND THAT CLIENTS CAN EXPECT TO BE KEPT INFORMED OF CHANGES AND NEWS OF INTEREST TO YOU.

SECTION 3 - DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Data will be retained for 6+1 years in order to enable us to keep our accountacy records. In the case of our Seville Roman Bike Tour, Passport Information and Dates of Birth will be deleted within 7 days of completion of your tour. Contact details will be used for publicity purposes for a maximumum of  24 months after the date of your activity.

 

SECTION 4 - DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 5 - PAYMENT

If you choose to purchase an item using Paypal then only that company handles your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. Adventurous Appetites Ltd and Adventurous Appetites Activities Ltd do not at anytime have access to your credit card details.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
